Thank you for this. I had a ticket for this concert, however due to the heavy weather the Monday, we were forced to go back to the Netherlands. Our car was destroyed almost due to the severe hail storm, so I couldn't go. Really bummed. But at least no one was hurt. Thanks again.
Luckilly I live in a different area. My car was damaged too: I had to change the windshield, a light and the bodywork is ruined. But I understand that if a thing like this happens far from home it can be a disaster. So... I hope my little video can cherish you up a little
@@max1334 yes indeed. It helps a bit. Luckily I saw Nick Mason twice a couple of years ago over here. But as we were in Peschiera anyway, this seemed the perfect opportunity. Any chance to share the original files, I would like to create a Bluray for it for personal use.

Grande Nick, non sono mai riuscito a vederlo dal vivo. Spero di poterlo vedere presto a Barcellona, e se sarà ad Asago Mediolanum ancora meglio, così potrò conoscere Milano.
Fearless in one of my top 5 favorite Pink Floyd songs. Two others are in this performance, Atom Heart Mother and Childhood's End.

NMSOFS was supposed to perform in Helsinki at the cultural house 8.6.2021 where the ticket had already been purchased, but covid-19 changed the plans. The performance was cancelled. 😢

Aggiungo anche che pur avendo i Floyd decine di cover band in giro per il mondo , per sentire finalmente dal vivo pezzi come Vegetable man o Let there be more light si è dovuto scomodare l'ex chitarrista degli Spandau Ballet

Questo progetto e questi concerti rendono finalmente giustizia a Mason, al grande, unico, sensibile, elegante musicista che è: mostrano come egli sia stato ingiustamente sottovalutato e quasi umiliato dagli altri Floyd, dalla decisione di questi ultimi di affiancargli negli ultimi tour il secondo inutile, pomposo, ridondante, ODIOSO batterista. Scusate lo sfogo, ma qualcuno doveva dirlo.

Riprendendo quello che diceva un mese fa Ludwig72 aggiungo che i concerti di Nick col suo gruppo sono di gran lunga migliori degli ultimi di Gilmour per non parlare di Waters che suona da 40 anni la stessa canzone. Riproporre pezzi mai fatti dal vivo in 56 anni, pezzi storici come A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS, SET THE CONTROLS e altri del periodo completamente accantonati nei concerti dal 1973 in poi rende l'opera di Mason assai più meritoria dei suoi illustri colleghi. Aggiungo che non ho quasi mai apprezzato le cover band dei Pink Floyd perchè quasi tutte si limitano a riproporre i pezzi dal 1973 in poi (con tanto di discutibili coriste al seguito), non dico che ci si debba cimentare con lo scioglilingua di Jugband blues, ma osare ogni tanto un Interstellar o Saucerful appunto, invece delle scontatissime Money o Confortably Numbs sarebbe molto più apprezzabile, ovviamente dal mio punto di vista, che si sarà capito, è quello di un Floydiano della primissima ora.
Personalmente ho amato sia i concerti di Waters sia quelli di Mason. Sono due animali differenti e mi sono piaciuti entrambi per motivi diversi.
Hai ragione al 100% sulle scalette dei concerti di Waters e Gilmour, sulle tribute band ti segnalo i Floyd quartet che riproducono live at Pompei alla perfezione con tanto di strumenti vintage (alcuni ampli proprio usati dai Floyd),no di tribute band c'è ne sono tante e buone😊😊😊
